Matthias had still been at the office when Audrey had called him to get her. She had sounded out of it, slurring her words but distressed as well and Matthias had hardly been able to get the name of the club she was in before they had suddenly been cut off. It was packed, once he actually got here, the lights to low for him to see anyone properly and the music to loud for him to think. Matthias had finally found her by the bar but Audrey had almost slipped as she attempted to get off the stool, too disoriented. Matthias wrapped an arm tight around her, supporting her weight and keeping her close while he got them out of there. The sidewalk was crammed with paparazzi, the flashes of light blinding and Matthias tried to turn her face in his chest, shielding her as best as he could. The drive back to her apartment had been silent, Audrey quietly leaning her head against the window. She had been slightly more aware by the time they reached. Matthias had been searching in her closet to find her something to wear while she washed up when he heard her. He turned around, noticing how much more vulnerable she looked now; all bareface and eyes rimmed red. “I’m not,” he assured her as he finally found a silk slip. “I’m right here,” he walked over, kissing her cheek once before unzipping her dress and helping her in the slip. Matthias picked up the clip on the dressing table, tying her long hair back so it wouldn’t bother her before getting her in bed. He didn’t say anything else as he tucked her in, making sure the covers were snug around her. He knew tomorrow they would probably attempt to talk about this but it would only turn into an argument but that could all wait. He leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead,“Get some sleep.”

okay, okay, okay, i’m truly running out of hate, but like i also can’t stand jamie dorn*n. like he was chill as the huntsman on once upon a time when i used to watch that shit in the first season, but after 50 shades of white started happening, everyone and their mothers started using him as that basic white starter “daddy” because of the movie and i’ve really just grown to hate him... esp since most of them are involved in some nastie plot like i pointed out with jdm and like i said... he’s a starter “daddy” before moving onto someone older like jdm and he kind of just gives me the heebie jeebies which is unfortunate, bc i’m sure he’s like... a nice guy too?
