When Kyle and you get into arguments, it's easy for both of you to get riled up. You're both a little hot-headed when it comes to being right, refusing to back down from your point just because you have to make it.
So you created a rule. Fighting can only happen if you both pretend to be dysfunctional divorced parents.
"And you don't think that I don't know why you didn't do the dishes!? It's cause you're bringing that tramp around again!" Kyle huffs dramatically, throwing his arms in the air. "Did you even ask before bringing him around our little boy!? No, cause you only think about yourself!"
"Don't you bring our son into this!" You fire back, a grin already breaking across your face. "I already told you, her name is Linda! I'm a free man, Kyle! And I'll have you know, I cooked dinner last night! The one who cooks doesn't clean!" You grab a glass from the cupboard and fill it with water, dramatically throwing it back.
"Oh, great! You're drinking again!" Kyle exclaims on disbelief, kissing your head as he starts the sink and begins to wash dishes. "You're always so nasty when you drink."
"You drive me to it, woman."
