if you missed the debut printing no worries, i’m going to do a second round within the next couple of weeks, definitely before the month is over. if i get my ish together i might be able to have a few other designs to offer as well.

Help me get to SXSW 2014!

Hi y'all!

So as some of you know, after 3-ish years of PhD-level academia-induced misery and alienation, I decided to leave my graduate program and am now attempting to make a living doing things I actually enjoy doing – namely: writing, artmaking, digital media and content creation, researching/engaging Black cultural practices and products, i.e. all the things you regularly see me doing online (and off).

Towards this end, I was planning on attending this year’s SXSW, mainly as a means of connecting and networking with other like-minded creatives and culture industry folks. However, as you know, ish happens, and my expected source of funding has dried up. So, with only a few weeks to go before the conference starts, I’m reaching out to my community to ask for help in paying the registration cost. This was something I was deeply looking forward to attending, and considering that I have a means to get there and a place to stay if I do, if it is at all within the realm of possibility for me to go, I figure it’s worth a shot.

The cost of registration for the Interactive portion of the festival, at this point, is $1295 (I know I don’t even know what that’s about. There is a sliding scale based on a set of rolling deadlines, but I didn't leave my program until December 2013 and SXSW wasn't put on my radar till early January, ergo.......sigh). While it would be AMAZING to get the full amount, I’m hoping to fundraise at least half the amount, which is approximately $650. Anything that you can and are willing to give, even $5, would be enormously helpful; and if you can’t give, signal boosting/passing this along would be greatly appreciated.

Racismschool is such a vile hypocrite. She has the fucking nerve to try and present herself as this anti-suicide spokesperson when she is bestie with monster like So-treu who never misses the opportunity to throw a 'kill yourself' at people disagreeing, many of whom have spoken about their struggles with depression and suicide. Also werent curlyingenue and dreamfromyfather depressed and even suicidal when she bullied them relentlessly? She is such a despicable poor excuse for a human being

If she is so much against suicide maybe she should stop bullying others , stop supporting people who bullying vulnerable people especially teenagers who already face persecution due to their blackness and queerness and tell other to kill themselves, and stop making side accounts to spread defamatory and hurtful shit about others. But that I guess is far above the reach of her sociopathic self.

I don't know if Dreamfrommyfather or Curlyingenue were depressed or suicidal but So-treu definitely tells people to kill themselves a lot. So does Riley.

I found it hilarious that she made fun of my teeth on a crappy picture. My teeth are fine, but even if they weren't, I am still much better than her because I don't resort to doxxing people to solve my problems. Like she had to look for a picture of me and insult me to make herself feel better from all the crappy shit she has pulled.Hilarious. She even thought I was talking about Riley! I'm sorry gurl bai, but you and your friends are still rachet and need to grow up.
