Have you ever been at some social gathering and found yourself sitting with a group of people that you never have associated with before? Then you quietly offer a comment and out of nowhere they all look at you like you understand their very souls. Then you just sit there thinking "Ahhh yes. They have accepted me as one of their own. Now we wait...."

Sometimes I hide when I see people in public places because I can't stand social interaction. Small talk is weird for me. And we just end up falling into extremely painful silences. It's unpleasant for us both. So really, I'm doing them a favor. Wow. I'm such a good person.

Me: Omg I have the best thing to say to respond to this with asdfghjkl; *starts typing*

Me: ..... *re-reads what has just been typed*

Me: .... this isn't brilliant, this is horrible.

Me: Omg I don't want to embarrass myself by saying this.

Me: Quick! Think of something else!

Time: *wasted*

Me: *brain fart*
