The Guest House sucks. Ugh. There's just SO much wrong with it.
right?!
{spoilers, but this movie sucks so really, what am i spoiling here}
a teenage goth girl has to play hostess to her dad's new female employee while he's out of town on business. she's staying in the guest house, as you could probably imagine by the title
but he's not really out of town on business. he's fucking someone in a hotel out there somewhere
but didn't goth girl's mom/his wife die of cancer like not too long ago? damn he got over that shit quickly
anyways back to the story
so goth girl and professional girl (don't even remember their names) spend some time together. drink together. go out on the town together
at some point they realize their mutual attraction and sleep together
except goth girl is barely 18 and professional girl is how old? its never established but presumably much older than goth girl
after two days they're in love right? shower sexing (with no soap i might add. that's just nasty) and getting matching key in the locket cliche tattoos (after two days?! the sex didn't look that good so i'mma need y'all to not!)
they also talk about how goth girl wants to be a musician but can't carry a note let alone play a tune on the piano that hasn't already been played.
all is going well until goth girls daddy comes home early from his "business trip" and finds them in bed together. reveals that he and professional girl once slept together before she hooked up with his daughter
at the end they meet up after some undisclosed amount of time in san Francisco and get back together
Great way to prepare. I have my fingers crossed for you. I wasn't able to donate much but know that I want the best for you. I'm just glad you're able to get out of that seriously fucked up situation.
I'd like to believe there was a lesson I had to learn here, a stagnant point. Limbo...if you will. It just feels good to have support. I'm going to be surrounded by love from this point on which is the most important for me (aside from finding permanent housing and a jawb). Thank you, so so much. <3
