how long does a hat usually take to make? I ordered one and I was just curious o3o

The way Jaime makes hats is she completes all 10 hats for the month (and 10 hats take almost exactly a month to make), then ships all 10 of them out in one batch.  And then of course the shipping time can vary based on your location as well.  So it may actually take roughly a month/month and a half before your hat arrives.  We both know this is kind of a long wait, so we try and suggest that people don’t order the hats hoping it’ll come in time for a cosplay at a con in 2 weeks or whatever.  Thanks for your question!  I know Jaime has mentioned her turnaround time on her etsy page before, but I may not have mentioned it on the blog yet, so here it is for anyone who’s curious.  Just bein’ perfectly honest, they do take awhile to make, haha, but they’re very well-crafted!  (I’ve tried to help her with them before, and she won’t let my stitch work pass if it doesn’t meet her standards!)
