Loved your post about designing canes for characters, So I came asking a somewhat weird question. MY space visualisation is, /bad/ so i need to ask someone who has expirence using a cane, but, would a big poofy skirt get in the way of proper use of a cane? If it would, what would you say would be the limit on poofiness so a skirt is still cute but not in the way?
Ok ok so this is the nicest dress I own with poof. And I can use my cane pretty easily on the side with the leg slit. I can use it on the other side but It will be weird.
Short poofy dresses would be fine cuz it mostly gets caught on the trail of the dress.
My advice. Leg slits. If itās art or writing I think it would be ok to cheat around that but irl i would suggest leg slits.
