Derbytaunt Ball:Coming of Rage

SoCo had their inaugural season opener bout this past Sunday at Fun Town Roller rink in Brunswick. The double header bout began with a boarder showdown between the Sk8 City Sirens of Savannah, Georgia and The Cherry Bomb Charmers of Orange Park, Florida. The charmers put up a fight but were shut down by the Sirens in the end. The second bout and main event was between the two home teams of the dolls, the Brunswick Beavers and the SoCo Swampcats. The Beaver team featured some of South Coasts star jammers and the Swampcat team was a wall of sheer blocking power. Both teams fought hard but it was the Beavers who came out on top in this doll on doll showdown. These two teams will go head to head again in September so stay up with the Dolls! The next bout will be in Brunswick at funtown and will be your South Coast Derby Dolls vs the J-Villains of Jacksonville Rollergirls. Tickets will be on sale soon! You do not wanna miss this bout! SoCo's first of 5 ranked bouts in the Derby South system!

The South Coast Derby Dolls had an amazingly close game with New South Roller Derby in a bout on November 24, 2013 at Fun Town Roller Rink. This bout was the last bout of the season for SoCo. The 2014 season will begin in mid to late February with bouts happening each month. During off season SoCo will be participating in many community events and actively recruiting for their 2014 team! Palm Coast Upsets South Coast in First Bout

Palm Coast battled South Coast in a fight to the finish Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Fun Town Roller Rink.  The Dolls gave it all they had but Palm Coast managed to pull ahead for a final score of 169-304.

This was the first bout in their home town for South Coast. Although the team didn't manage to squeeze out a win, all skaters considered the bout a huge success and look forward to their next bout.  The next bout taking place on October 27, 2013 at Fun Town.  It's a mixed open roster scrimmage with costumes and lots of Halloween Fun for everyone!
