Trash cans can be beautiful too
I love how all the Artubers who participated in the trash can painting for April fools gave us actual content, I appreciate how even though they were given a literal trash can they all made beautiful works of art. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLL8fw0Hw0JpAIRPvPnbymoV7N62_vkSd0 heres a playlist I made of all the ones out right now (there may be more to come? I’m not sure) if anybody is interested P.S Shoutout to anyone who did nice April fools jokes, ya’ll are the best.
[image description: three bracelets made from plastic pony or glass beads arranged in a daisy shape (six beads of one colour surrounding a centre bead of black, white or yellow) sitting on a white surface. Handwritten text in grey underneath reads “Daisy Chain Bracelet” and watermark text reads “Youtube: SoCraftastic”.]
This is a simple, clear video tutorial for making daisy chain bracelets by SoCraftastic. I thought this might be an ideal DIY for people who want a bracelet or jewellery item they can roll over their skin, like a normal beaded fidget, but also looks like an ordinary bracelet for stealth stimming. Any kind of round bead that can be threaded should be suitable for this, as long as all your beads are of the same size/scale.
I found this video tutorial difficult to watch - her hand movements are quite flickery and quick. I really like her style and approach, but something about the camera work and the repetitiveness of the beading put this into “if I don’t stop now I am so going to have a seizure” territory.
I couldn’t find a non-moving-image tutorial that approached the daisies in the same way, but for a different approach, try this one with great graphics from Fusion Beads. The text below each image explains each step clearly, so unless there’s formatting concerns of which I’m not aware, this tutorial should be fairly accessible.
Went to @michaelsstores yesterday with my nephew @andrik_stewart and #fluffables were on sale. Spent about 3 hours on it, but the instructions were not very helpful. I did have extra fluff left over though.... #socraftastic #nerdecrafter #craftkit https://www.instagram.com/p/Bz6uEZVni7k/?igshid=17ku2rgaigjir
