Ever get an idea you think is both brilliant and dumb, that makes you feel smart and slow at the same time? My phone's lock screen is opened by swiping from any point with my finger. Where I put my finger, a circle appears, and as I swipe, it grows until the screen behind it is fully revealed. So I put a Doc Scratch wallpaper in and now I can giggle to myself every fuckin' time I open my phone.

It always annoys me a little regarding time travel when people (in WoW particularly) assume just because we killed a time travel dude, his story's done. I'm always "no guys, there's absolutely nothing to suggest we won't fight his younger self in our future, we might even weaken him enough for our younger selves to defeat, come on, it's time travel"! Also, re: Mindfang; I always read it as "though I am blind no more". I'm being told on the forums more people apparently read it the same as you.
Re: Mindfang; I… I think you may be totally right, and I just misread that whole sequence. What makes me think that way is the fact that she says that line right after she talks about ridding herself of the cue ball and Doc Scratch’s influence. Ooops!

Non-Homestuck related Asks from a fellow time travel fan (or Please Tell Me I'm Not Crazy): Do you ever find yourself applying time travel concepts and junk to things it really has no place in? EG; when I read thriller books where the protag somehow survives near-impossible odds, I seem to just pretend it's the timeline where they survive in an infinite multitude of varying possibilities. I also apply butterfly effect to how spoilers (or inception) can affect experiences massively, later on.
Fact: this is the kind of thing I think about all the time in the shower. For example, what if the Stormtroopers are actually really great marksmen? What if the Star Wars we’re seeing is the ideal timeline in which every one of their blaster shots miraculously missed? That, or I imagine what it would be like to wake up in somebody else’s body and have to pretend to be them without arousing the suspicions of their friends and loved ones.
Also has anyone made a half-blood prince joke yet if not whoops
