"starting off on the wrong hoof.."

it was a beautiful morning in Ponyville. the pegasi were making quick work of their weather duties and everypony was going about their daily routines.
obviously, such a perfect morning was ideal for farmwork as well!
the apple family was up bright and early working the farm, bucking apples and tending to everything else that needed attending to.
Applejack was working the fields, apple bloom was helping with collection the apples and big Macintosh was carrying away the countless wagons full of apples.
however, aside from granny smith, who was overseeing the farm and taking occasional naps in her rocking chair, there was another pony out on the fields today. a petite yet strong colt who was doing handiwork.
of course, the apple family was rather extensive, so seeing a seemingly new face out on the farm was nothing too special. and another colt, a unicorn by the name of Posh Prance, clearly didn´t even care enough to properly look where he was going.
his muzzle in a book, he only took a quick glance to see Applejack, Apple Bloom, Big Macintosh and Granny Smith in the distance and nopony anywhere near him, so he simply walked right ahead at a comfortable pace, reading the last few lines in the book he was reading..
