(softceruleanmuses) The little plush had spent the better stretch of the evening prior making it. It was safe, not capable of too much damage to his fabric, and Amber liked rabbits. It only made sense to fold up a little origami bunny for her to keep around. José really did appreciate Amber, no matter how she might spook him at times. Oh! He couldn't forget to hug her! She liked hugging him. Truth be told, he was starting to like hugs, too.

      Everyone had boundaries. Even toys had them in the absence of company, yet to see José round the corner with a readied embrace? It’s almost hard to believe. She crouched down so he wouldn’t level off the ground too much — but a hug was a hug! And Amber liked warm, tight hugs.

      In this case, she would often remind him that she wasn’t made of porcelain. This didn’t seem to be the case today.

      And the rabbit. Oh, that precious, origami bunny rabbit! She’d gotten new accessories throughout December from the new owner, Kelly. A winter shawl, some dress patterns, even a new wig! Amber was wearing it right now in fact. But something like this was so sentimental, and she was more than glad she made gift plans of her own.

      “There isn’t a pin on the back. I know you wouldn’t prefer velcro either, but there should be a ribbon attached. I can tie for you if you’d like.” A soft, shy smile. “José? I can’t thank you enough. You and Kelly have made this Christmas the most amazing thing I just… I don’t know what to say.”

(softceruleanmuses) Where is that chuckling coming from? It would only take a few seconds before a beacon shines around the corner, just out of Diyana's view. When It finally sees the Rattata, a great, jovial Spirit in a robe continues to laugh down to her, handing her down a sliver of the goose's leg and a small, fresh, hot stalk of broccoli, as well as a little necklace with wooden pieces. "A very Merry Christmas to you, Diyana. Come on, friend, would you like to share this meal?"

Well, this is certainly unexpected. 

Though not inconceivable. This is a world, after all, where many legends and stories either hold a truth to them or turn out to be true. 

Diyana, standing upright in their red-and-white striped PJs and nightcap, scratches the side of their head. They’re ill-equip to really decide what they want to do. Plus, they sort of prefer the holiday with the dreidel. Still, it would be rude to dismiss a holiday Spirit, even if it did unexpectedly materialize in their home. So, they respond,  “Um… Sure…”
