Missing my horse, Naranja in Creel, Chihuahua, Mexico...I kept calling her Naranjo as I didn't know it should be Naranja for a mare. She is such an adventurous horse and love going fast and I was just a novice rider who never have any riding lessons but deep admiration for horses and people who ride them. Naranja actually reminded me of Rain in Spirit stallion of the Cimarron. She took off without waiting for my guide who barely speak english and I was scared for my life, I thought to myself, "with all the fear of people who said mexico was an unsafe country to visit....and it turns out that it was actually horse riding that might hurt me bad..." I was lucky that I didnt get thrown off as I hang on to her saddle until she finally stopped near the hillside with pine trees and my guide caught up with us and told me I should have pull the rope to stop her...Despite what has happened, I was determined to ride her and continue with the tour and grew fond of her at the end of the tour...even the retired Dutch couple I met while travelling in Oaxaca said that I was actually looking for trouble for booking a 7 hour tour ride and for never really rode a horse before...well, besides that time while riding Tiger, a black arabian horse near pyramid of Giza in Egypt almost 5 years ago....I've made it a mission that I will try to ride horses everywhere I travel...perhaps I should start taking riding lessons too #eladventures #eladventuro #ridemexico #naranja #creel #creelchihuahua #throwback #berghaus #meltingeye #bigbrowneyes #sosoft #solotraveller #wonderlust #horseriding #mytan #mexicobonito #spiritstallionofthecimarron #mexicanhorse #spirit #lovehorse #ponylove #browneyes #horsegirl #softhorse #mare #horses #horse (at Creel, Chihuahua)
