Tired of constantly being burden with other people‘s protest- I mean problems.

Working long endless hours that amount to paycheck to paycheck.

Being forced to obey & abide by laws in a system that does not protect Ublack peopleS.

Never having enough yet is always asking for too much.

Sharing a title that ignores Ublack peopleS.

I am not a BIPOC/POC for I will never be able to pass (IYDKIWE) & is consistently aware of what/where YOU think my place is.

We are the loudest voices in the room, that’s never heard.

Our agony, and heartache being held in YOUR mouths at leisure. Helps tear down the fragile strands of humanity left in this world.

We refuse to help you in another fight to only receive a participation awar- sticker.

We the black folk, the skin folk that is my kinfolk are a whole bottle of TIDE.

Yet we never tire of the skin we are in.

I've been stuck on Harold Green III's Black Roses for a hot lil minute. I truly loved how he told their stories and uplifted each and every woman he spoke on. It was so warm and loving. You are making Black a primary color, and your blends know no end.

You are teaching perception how to bend.

You show past and present how to be flexible and make way for Black Futures.

Art is fashion, which means- you are a portable exhibition.

Art is essential- like breathing, or vision. We see what you see.

Art is for the living. It helps us understand our existence. There is an art to comprehension.

You turned equity into an art form and made it exquisite.

You put it on display for all to see. Met us where we were and invited us up- how hospitable.

You made the hidden visible. Look at the picture you paint.
