Been looking to branch out into actual animations for some time now, but I’m kinda stuck on where exactly to start. Like, I know WHAT I want to animate and some general ideas of HOW to do it, but the thing I’m stuck on is what software is best for it? Anyone have some ideas on what animation software is the best for beginners (and preferably free)? Bonus point if it has some sort of editing function that would let me add sound to my animations, but isn’t a requirement. And if there isn’t animation software that has that included, is there a good free video editing software that I could use if I did want to add sound to some of the animations?

One of my goals for the next year is to learn video editing. I need it for my career and it sounds fun. I'm a beginner, I'm using Windows 10, and I'm broke so it needs to be free. Any suggestions?

Kind of random but what do you guys use to listen to music on your computer? I've used Winamp for YEARSSSSSSSS but they're shutting it down. I don't mind using it still but I want to switch to something that's going to at least have updates and what not. I'd prefer something simple and something that isn't itunes. If not I'll probably just stick with the final version of Winamp and maybe Windows Media Player. Any suggestions?
