Then VS Now: My Art Is Old Enough To Walk
I can't believe I survived to redraw assets I made in 2020 all the way out here in 2025.
In all seriousness, these assets are pretty old, but I'm surprised they hold up so well. There's a certain charm to them that the current me can't replicate after having gone through years of growth as an artist, and for that, I still really appreciate them.
Of course, hindsight brings with it a fair amount of cringe. I mean, a gardener in pristine white sandals and a skirt? A werewolf in a skin-tight shirt? What was I thinking?
But that's the beauty of growth, I suppose.
And yeah, I'm still a long ways away from what I want to be, but I'm proud of myself for learning from my mistakes, for evolving and using that evolution to make sprites that I think are really cool. Speaking of which, they're right down there under the cut:
