Helo sol, i have a little speculation about the mining company that cityfolk’s dad is working at:
It makes sense if they’re the ones that are responsible for helping N.D Corp with acquiring the crystal which Mercury stole. However what bugs me is the fact that might’ve also been connected to what happened to David’s parents and how said crystal is able to also be in the human world (since it’s only seen as a rune in Orin’s dimension and possibly the feyrealm). As well as who is the mysterious employer responsible for hiring Mercury’s team. (At first I thought it was Agent Harper but that wouldn’t be the case anymore)
I think that crystal is like a catalyst that is able to transfer magic or at least produce magic and what keeps the realms stabilized (in some way) hence why it’s in Orin’s dimension (to keep him inside the realm and wait)
I wanna hear your thoughts on this as well on this too if that’s okay !
Elo elo! first of all, this whole theory is genius. The crystal Mercury had to retrieve and the ruin in Orin’s world hum the same melody so it is entirely possible that they are the same rock. Also, with the new info on Ray possibly being related to Blackwood from Orin’s world it is a good possibility that Orin and such escaped from that world using the crystal which allowed it to appear on earth and maybe even grow in those caves?
The catalyst thing bugs me though, because where is it transferring the magic to in the human world. Maybe it transfers it to giale but I’m not sure how that would work since we don’t really know a lot about the facility other than the fact that it keeps the magical world (mostly) separate from the humans.
