W- Well.. I don’t hate being around you. You’re my best friend. I.. Don’t have any free time and I still spend time with you. You make sure I eat and nobody’s ever done that for me before. I think.. You’re probably the first, and maybe only, person who’s ever given a damn about my well being– or whatever. I fucking hate texting but I text you. If anyone else showed up at my place unannounced or uninvited I’d probably kick the shit out of them. Every time I go out I always see random shit I think you’d like and I’m always tempted to buy it for you but I dunno if that’s weird or not. I don’t know. I don’t know about any of this. I never have.

ღ - For a short drabble about my character falling asleep with yours.

This was a normal thing. It happened– all the time, even. Friends do stuff like this, right? Sleep overs? It sounds dumb calling it that considering he’s a twenty three year old man, but what else was there to call it?? They’d always ended up like this, even if it was usually because they’d passed out on the couch watching bad horror flicks instead of now, in his too small bed. Which was ironic considering his bed was actually a normal size, easy enough for two people to fit on comfortably. So why exactly his heart was hammering in his chest, sweat slowly forming on the back of his neck at just how close they actually were, he didn’t know. Because this was normal. Friends did stuff like this. And that’s what they were– friends. The foot of empty bed space separating them was completely reasonable, if not more than most would put between them and their best friend. But for whatever reason, he just couldn’t calm down. Jean shut his eyes tighter, listening to the sounds of her breathing, which somehow did nothing to calm him in his current state, and did his best to will himself to sleep soon enough to be able to wake up at a decent time the next morning and pretend like nothing was wrong, like it wasn’t already two am and he was panicking trying to think of a valid excuse for why he hadn’t been able to fall asleep after such an eventful day together. A reason that made sense as to why his palms were sweaty and he couldn’t breathe properly. Because right now he had no fucking clue.

Jean, just by pure size.

Mmm.. Depends. Jean likes mornings and usually wakes up early just out of habit but sometimes he stays up so late he sleeps all day because he’s dUMB.

Uhh…not really?? neither of them would like pet names apart from MAYBE babe/baby and nicknames don’t really work with their names ahaha

What happened when they met each other’s parents?

jean would never ever introduce anyone he cared about to his parents and mikasa’s parents are dead sooo…

How do they apologise after an argument?

Jean is really bad at actually saying the words “im sorry” unless it’s something really huge, so usually he’ll just do something nice to try and make up for it and hope she understands ((which, she’s his best friend too so she does)) and i tHINK mikasa would maybe do like a rq quiet apology and then never say anything about it again

What would they be like as parents?

mikasa the super mom. she’s stricter than jean but not overly so?? and jean is..,.a goofball. they’d both ADORE their kids.

Who is the better cook?

mikasa, definitely. jean barely even remembers to feed himself without her as it is.

Who is more romantic?

they’re both romantic in their own ways!!

What sort of gifts do they get for each other?

jean would get useless trinkets just stuff that made him think of her/he thought she would like and mikasa’s would be like, stuff he actually needed and it’d be funny because he gets toothpaste he’s actually not allergic to for his birthday and then probably something else cute and sentimental.

neither of them really?? mikasa would be excited but it’s still just sort of eh and jean doesn’t really like huge events and stuff

i think both of them are!! jean would do dumber more dangerous stuff though

jean is more protective in the “that guy was looking at you weird im gonna go punch him in the throat” kind of way but mikasa is more motherly protective like put on sunscreen you fuckin dumbass you’re gonna get sKIN CANCER.

Embarrassed :: 

He's pretty easy to embarrass... He overreacts sometimes and if he gets too worked up he'll do things without thinking them through fully - and maybe make a scene on accident, or raise his voice without realizing it. Having to discuss his ~*feelings*~ will do it, too. 

Girls are also a great source of embarrassment for him because he has no idea how to talk to them.
