With your face almost hidden behind an array of monitors it was hard to tell what you saw and whether it connected with anything. Passing by your desk I saw the mug shots of adorable me on one or your screens, yet those feline eyes gazing at you across the frames of our monitors, checking your mine for signs of recognition, didn‘t seem to register with you. What else was I going to have to do to get you to wake up and take notice of me?
When you walked over to the espresso machine I joined you there. Walking back to our desks I noticed you‘d installed my latest mug shot as background on your desktop. I pointed at the screen I asked in a casual voice: »Who‘s she? Know her?«
