Okay so this is the first time I'm going to write something about The Owl House. I also want to precise that English is not my first language, so I'm sorry if there is any mistakes .
Now, about Hollow Mind. This episode destroyed me, like really. After finishing it I cried.
Belos is Phillip, now we are sure (not that almost everyone knew it xD), and he is a real villain. Usually, I like villains, they are manipulative, they have a goal that is understandable... But Belos is different. He is really really bad.
He killed a bunch of people just to experience his Coven things. He destroyed town, killed people, to scared people, to make them believe in him.
I saw a post saying this is an analogy of christianism, when they scared people to make them believe in God and Devil, and I'm totally agree with that. Belos see the demon's realm as hell, if he can't go out of here, then he has to rule them. I'm still not sure about the Day of Unity is about, but I don't think it's just a way to escape from this. He teamed up with the Collector, and I'm afraid they want to unite the human's realm to the demon's realm. But for what? I still don't know.
Speaking of the Collector, I was really surprised! Never have I imagined it like that! We can think that the Collector is the typical bored villain who manipulate the other, but for me it's not. Yes the Collector is bored, but I don't think Belos is manipulate or is manipulating it. They just teamed up because they have the same goal.
Now, about Hunter, he is indeed a Grimwalker. Belos said he created him. We also know that there were a bunch of other Golden Guard, created by Belos, but each of them betrayed him. It shows that even if they were created by him, they still can develop a personality, so they are not forced to obey him.
Belos also said to Hunter that of all the Grimwalker he were the one who ressemble "him" the most. We saw on 'Through the Looking Glass Ruins' that they were two humans. Phillip and his brother (or friend, but for me they are brothers).
We saw in the portraits that Phillip killed his brother, because he loved a witch. Plus this witch was pregnant. We also saw that even if Belos was cursed, it made no difference for his brother because he loved him anyway. But Philip/Belos didn't like seeing his brother adapting so well, plus he was reproducing him with a witch?! He couldn't accept this, so he killed him. (Fratricide in a Disney's show, wow!)
Another thing about Hunter is his palisman, Flapjack. Indeed this name comes from the human's realm, so was his old owner Phillip's brother? They look alike so it can explain why Hunter was chosen by Flapjack!
Oh and just a theory, but Hunter's alias was Caleb. Could it be Philip's brother's name?
I won't talk a lot about Raine, Darius and Eberwolfe because we knew that Darius was helping Raine in the last episode! But it's nice to have a confirmation.
Anyway, I gotta go so I have to stop here. Another time, sorry for the mistakes!
