The Domovoi is pretty fun. It's a little creature that lives in your house and if it likes you then it protects the house. If you make it angry it will cause trouble. Usually weird things like tickle you while you sleep.

that sounds really similar to some things like kobolds (not actually sure that’s what i’m thinking of, but it’s the one thing that i know is smallish and i remember the name right now) and some others trapped in my memory that i can’t quite catch right now... but similar small, mischevious creatures who live in your home and like presents and stuff, and will help or hinder based on whim lol
