one thing i love about the way robert is written as a semi-reformed villain is how consistent they are with his base character traits, not like motivations or past or backstory, just like what he's good and bad at and how those are always present regardless of whether he's being good or bad, like:
strength: logistics
scheming = evil logistics
running a haulage company = neutral logistics
planning surprise parties/weddings = good logistics
trait: obsessive
holding grudges like a motherfucker = evil obsessive
closet anime nerd = neutral obsessive*
soulbond with aaron dingle = good obsessive**
(*neutrality debatable, possibly evil)
(**goodness dependent on era, see also: list of notable casualties thereof)
trait: bougie
tricking aaron into using gordon's money to buy the mill = evil bougie
fancy wardrobe/cars = neutral bougie (obnoxious but hot so cancel each other out)***
homemade valentine's pasta = good bougie
(***can't wait for robert to have a stupid car again one day. he will be so happy)
