nephrite's from back in era1. only, she's never been much for captain-ing, more scouting. she later got reassigned in era2 as the captain of a crew consisting of a pair of pyrite, an azurite and an era 2 peridot. but in a stroke of craziness, her and her crew have gotten stranded on earth.. (reformation is after a good time spent on earth).

maybe she used to be part of the rebellion, who knows, haven't worked out the kinks yet :'3
