Something that a lot of people forget about Sammie and Remmick is that Remmick didn’t only want to take Sammie’s musical ability, he also wanted to give Sammie a piece of him. He wanted Sammie’s gift but he also wanted Sammie to have his gifts. He wanted Sammie to see what he saw and to see what Sammie sees. He wanted what’s essentially a spiritual marriage.

“I want your stories, I want your songs, and you gon’ have mine”. He didn’t say “I want your stories, I want your songs, and you’re gonna give them to me” he specifically said that he’d have Sammie’s stories and Sammie would have his.

Another headcanon

After being alive for so long Remmick just knows random skills. He can’t tune a radio but knows how to forge metal,garden,wood carve and a bunch of shit that isn’t really useful as time goes on.

Can make shoes but will burn down the house if near a gas stove.

Remmick fixed Sammie’s guitar, recovering the silver disk in the lake and manually making a replica of his old one.
