AH HELLO FRIEND!!!! thank you for the ask!!! :) from the wounds of war is one of my favs - the entire sequence in which the chapter sits is just one of my favorite parts of the story and i really particularly love this one!!!! so thank you so much!!! i have a moodboard and a song for you for this one!!! :) it’s a bit spoiler heavy yet again so i won’t be inserting a snippet just in case!!! :)

I have to say, I think they REALLY kicked the music up a notch in Tangled's second season. I mean, the first season was good, but the only real standout for me, looking back now, was "Ready As I'll Ever Be". In the second season...
Well, the Buddy Song is a DELIGHTFUL, incredibly wholesome homage to older Disney that I've probably watched six times already?? and "Waiting in the Wings" is lovely and sometimes haunting, "Wither and Decay" may not technically be new but DID give me chills, "Livin' the Dream" is frankly HILARIOUS and the most Doofenshmirtzian thing I've ever heard outside PnF, "With You By My Side" hit me hard with the sheer open sweetness of it (and their shared fear of losing each other!! :'( ), and "Everything I Ever Knew" was just plain SAD.
Even the handful I didn't mention specifically still seem, to me, to really be a cut above most of the S1 songs...
Man, I'm excited for S3, though.
