When the Sontaran sleeper cell was activated, there was one man fighting them alongside the soldiers. He was gunned down very quickly, but before the Sontaran's could get to the first "Ha" of their chant, he was back on his feet, his body now resonating at the same frequency as the Sontaran weapons. And every shot he took charged him up more.

He fires into the column of Sontarans with their own energy, and notices the sound of something from out of this world approaching...

Bilbo hummed a tune as he went though the forest  He had left the rest of the company to be on his own for a while. He hadn't gone to far. He was close enough to barely hear them talking in the distance. He just wanted time to think back of his home at the Shire. He missed it, he really did, but something made him happy to be with Thorin and his company as well.

He didn't pay attention to his path, more so on the ground, and he didn't seem to bother looking up until the little hobbit ran into someone. "Oh! Sorry!"
