The Second Edition of Shadowless World has gone live!
This new edit features cleaner formatting (color-coded and typo-corrected), a new scene with visuals to match (Eggman’s come to make an announcement), more sounds and music, and brand new cover art.
While directing my lovely team of performers, my goal was to convey characters that maintained their innocence through out the story, regardless of what they endured. I wanted the light-hearted, lovable nature of both versions of Sonic to be an inspiration to Shadow while he struggled with apathy and disconnect. Sonic, in both forms, wishes to be helpful and make the world a better place. Shadow does so as well, but more than that, he wants to preserve his fellow, alien friend, despite being trapped in a dystopian world.
Another goal was to illustrate a believable, playful yet tasteful, relationship between Sonic and Shadow that could be interpreted as unorthodox, borderline romantic. I wanted to create a situation in which the two would need one another. Both harbor the weight of the world on their shoulders due to their unmatched speed and extraterrestrial powers.
Shadow is confused. Why have all the heroes allowed Eggman to reign supreme? Hoping to keep a low profile, the Ultimate Life Form emerges from the woodworks when he witnesses Sonic's friends brutally attacking... Boom Sonic? Something very strange is going on indeed! Ⓣ
