Today’s song spotlight is My Boys, My Legacy.

From the time I was a little boy, I dreamed of one day having children of my own. More than any career, accomplishment, or success, I wanted to be a dad.

My boys are my greatest accomplishment and my greatest source of pride. They taught me the true meaning of unconditional love, the love our Savior has for us, and showed me what God’s grace really meant. From the moment I looked into each of their eyes for the very first time, I knew my life was no longer just about me. God had given me a purpose greater than anything I could have ever imagined.

Watching them grow into the incredible young men they are has been one of the greatest gifts of my life. They have brought more joy, laughter, and love into my life than I ever thought possible. They gave my life meaning and purpose. They give me strength to battle the storms. I’ve seen God through them.

This song is my love letter to them. It’s a reminder that no matter where life takes us or what storms we face, they will always be my boys, my greatest blessing, my purpose, and my legacy.

They’ll always be my 2.0’s. ❤️

Welcome to my page. My name is Paul Bodenhamer III, and before anything else, I’m a son of Jesus and father to three incredible boys. They have been the greatest blessing in my life and the inspiration behind much of the music I write.

I am a proud USAF OEF/OIF Combat Veteran, son, brother, uncle, and singer-songwriter. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, songs had a way of telling stories, bringing people together, and helping us through life’s highs and lows. Over the years, songwriting became my way of sharing my own journey.

My music is rooted in faith, family, love, perseverance, and the moments that define who we are. Whether it’s a song about summer sunsets on the Oregon coast, an old Ford truck, the lessons learned through fatherhood, or overcoming life’s challenges, every song I write comes from a real place and a real story.

My passion is Christian Country music with an occasional island flair. It is my hope that God will use me through the words of the songs He allows me to write—to help others.

As a Christian, I believe God has guided me through both the blessings and the storms in my life. Those experiences have shaped not only who I am as a man, but also as a songwriter. My goal isn’t just to make music—it’s to create songs that connect with people, encourage them, and remind them that they are never alone.

Thank you for listening, supporting my journey, and allowing me to share these stories with you. I hope these songs bring you as much joy, hope, and inspiration as they brought me while writing them.

2018->Just what did scatter my thoughts, for it was not schizophrenia. Drugs? I doubted that then & doubt it now doubly. Something out there lurks preying on the unsuspecting. I could feel it, like Spider-Man's "spider-sense". Their is a reason I did not remove this post. Perhaps to just remind myself of how far off the truth I was. Not that I was "far" off, rather that I had a very materialistic view that was ingrained into me by school, media & my parents as a child. If one asked me if there "R" monsters out there, I would answer yes, and admit to something I believe personally "They seem to be attached to physical people.".
