Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer 2 Odd Diodes have announced Sonzai, a hand-drawn action RPG about life, magic, and relationships. It will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam, and more in 2022.

**Happy Halloween Week

I promise I’m not here to shill for games as much as I am here to show you how cool the pixel art is, but I think this game is an especially underrated gem that builds on classic platformers. It’s got some of the most beautiful pixel art I’ve seen in a modern game, and the story is kind of cute and rather anime. Give it a shot if you loved Shovel Knight or the games that influenced that franchise.

I have a lot more screens to post for this one and once I’ve gotten the time to edit them, you’ll get to see just how gorgeous that pixel art really is.
