You know... I feel like the relationship between Soona, the Programmer and Acele is... more important than you might think.

Disco Elysium spoilers ahead.

Acele's not exactly in the best situation. She had a hard home life.

She's on drugs.

She's coming down fast.

This part with Andre actually kind of concerns me.

Acele is in trouble with him. It doesn't even take high Empathy to see it, so just how obvious is it?

Plus, Andre isn't just the leader; he's also her boyfriend. Her boyfriend who has done some questionable things.

Soona is familiar with Acele. She's seen her before.

Soona is quite a character herself. She likely started programming at a young age.

It's her everything now.

So I don't know. There's something about this scene.

Something about two women who don't get caught up in the madness, about Acele possibly having someone else, someone so different from the people she's been with for so long, that makes my brain whir.

Acele said she's a silver bird.

Maybe we don't have to be the only ones who find someone to whistle with.
