catching up on runaways and i looooooveee this show. like i loved the comics from way back and it has been awhile since i read them and can’t remember all the details but im loving the changes in the show. im actually loving so hard that we get to learn more about the parents and their back stories and their reasoning for doing what they’re doing
i love seeing the kids actually super conflicted about going up against their parents because yes they’re parents are evil serial killers but also they’re their parents and as someone who has a...complicated/occasionally toxic relationship with their own parents i understand that it can be hard to fight back cause even when you hate them there’s still a part of you that loves them and wishes things could be better
also i just love my kids in general. i love my daughters nico and karolina and molly and gert. and i love my sons chase and alex. omg ALEX. i fucking hate this show for making me love alex again and im not sure im ready to heartbroken. the show has made a lot of changes already so maybe we can change that particular plotline??? here’s to hoping
