You one what dramas need more of? Heavy petting. Like, people go from first kisses to bam in an episode or 2, where is the making out and getting worked up but reigning yourself in and panting saying “we should stop” or just all the other fun stuff that gets forgotten as soon as full penetrative sex is on the table.

It allows for a natural progression and it is more believable than people who are usually virgins or inexperienced characters to actually build in their relationships. Plus it really mixes up the NC scenes a bit instead of your standard predictable scenes.

There are a few BLs I can think of in the last couple years that have worked more of this in with BJs and handiwork, that’s not just foreplay but it should happen more, especially when they do the “innocent uke” angle they like so much. And sometimes even the tops don’t seem that experienced so why is everyone skipping the fun parts of early relationships?

Oh man, I'm on ep 5 of Bittersweet Love and I absolutely hate EVERYONE except the baby boy (and I'm irritated with him because he's such a pushover). His family? Hate them. His wife? Hate her even more. Lu Qing? Hate. Lu Qing's new/old boyfriend? Hate.

Coral Island - I picked it up again after several months and started over with a new save. This is my third run-through and for whatever reason, is my slowest go yet. I forgot all my farming sim strategies. LOL

The Purple Book (Orinakin) (In This Land #1) by Matthew Haldeman-Time - I started a reread this week, mostly skipping Talin and Hitari's storyline this go around. This is the first part of a long-running mm romance serial centered around the seven (eight counting Extra) ruling siblings of Orina Anoris. Each book focuses on a different brother, but should be read chronologically. It's emotional, romantic, very funny, and has loads of raunchy sex. But it can also be sad and make you think. I fell in love with the characters almost immediately and it's been a lot of fun rereading after a few years.

Hawaii Five-0, s1 ep 1-6 - I needed something in English for background noise so decided to put this on. That theme song is still one of the coolest ever.

Life in Smokey Blue ep 1-4 - Yeah this one's as good as everyone said. But also a little too close to home, so it's taking me a lot longer to get through.

Ted Lasso, s4 ep 2 - Much better than last week, but I'm already tired of Beard.
