6: Gentle Peck

Merida and Sophie sat on the beach after a long day of swimming. It was a small, secluded place far down, in the shade of a tree. It was coming towards the end of August, and Sophie would be going back to school soon. 

Merida rolled over on her side to face Sophie. 

"We have to talk about it sooner or later." Merida told her. 

"No, we really don’t." Sophie stuffed her head into her arms, her hair blocking Merida from view. 

"Ye’ll be goin’ te’ school. Ah’ll be goin’ te the Southern Hemisphere." She sighed. "Ah won’t be able t’e visit much, either. It’ll be tu cold fer me." 

"I’ll turn the heat on really high. That’s what we do for Jack in the summer." Sophie’s voice was muffled from her arms.

"Yeah, but’e still only comes what, once e’ery two-three weeks?" She asked with raised eyebrows. 

"Yeah, but you’re tougher than Jack. You can withstand the cold." Sophie finally turned her head back towards Merida, giving her big puppy-dog eyes. 

"Ah’ll visit as much as ah can." Merida sighed before giving Sophie a long, but gentle peck on the lips.

"Well, obviously." Merida smirked. 

"Huh, didn’t see that coming.."

Merida was old. She had been born hundreds of years ago, as a princess who would have her first real relationship be the marriage she hadn’t live to see. So obviously she had never been in a relationship that was as physical as the one she was in with Sophie. 

She thought she had been getting along fine, even if the only relationships she had actually seen were the aspiring one between Jack and Tooth and the more mature one that had come from her parents. But really she knew nothing. 

This, of course, undoubtedly led to the squeak of surprise that escaped her lips when Sophie nipped at her neck for the first time. She had jerked her head back and asked, “Did ye’ just bite me?" It hadn’t felt bad, actually it had felt rather nice, but it still left her really quite confused.

3: Nose Kiss

Merida thought Sophie was cute, that she couldn’t deny. And, for the fact that she went through all this trouble just to set up a picnic for the spirit’s 318 birthday, well, that was adorable. She helped her lie the soft blue blanket out in the sun, and Sophie set out all the food. 

Merida did like her. She liked her a lot. Especially as she watched her look over the food with a blush on her face, like she was embarrassed for making it for her. She didn’t have to tell her yet, but maybe a hint? So, she took both sides of Sophie’s head in her hands and kissed her on the nose. 

“Thank ye’ so much Sophie.” She giggled at the bright blush on her face. “It’s perfect.”

13: Stomach Kiss (I THINK SOMEBODY’S ADDICTED)

Sophie and Merida were lying on the beach. Merida had just done some excellent wave making and was taking a short break, lying around and listening to music. 

It was very peaceful and quiet until some kids from Sophie’s school came towards them. They greeted Sophie, as of course they couldn’t see Merida, and she returned it. They started up a conversation, something about a dance that would be coming up, she didn’t know, but she did see a perfect chance to tease Sophie. 

Starting off small, poking her cheek, pulling on a strand of hair, stuff that Sophie would try to knock away without being to obvious. Her friends started to notice something was up, and Merida could tell were trying to ignore it. 

It was until Sophie leaned back on her elbows that Merida seen a perfect opening. Moving quickly, she placed a hot kiss right about her belly button, laughing out loud when she heard the ‘eep’ that escaped her mouth. 

Her friends all raised an eyebrow at the small, blond teen before telling her they had to go and would talk to her later. Merida lied back, propped up by her eyebrows as Sophie gave her an annoyed look. 

“And I assume you’re proud of yourself?” She asked. 

“Ah wee but, yeah.” Merida smirked.

10: Neck Kiss (littleshitgettingthreekisses)

Merida and Sophie sat on the floor in front of a TV screen. Merida should have probably been off in the lower regions of the world doing something productive for the summer season, but all she wanted to do was be around Sophie today, even if the thunder and lightning storm Mother Nature order kept them indoors. 

Merida looked over at Sophie, who’s eyes were glued to the screen, before giving a mischievous smirk. Sophie had just enough time to notice her movement before Merida pounced at her, pinning her to the ground. She gave a triumphant smile before leaning down and placing a few kisses along Sophie’s neck. 

Sophie looked at her with an eyebrow raised. “I see someone didn’t enjoy the movie.”
