I am a bit insane with hatchace so have some things
It was a bit rocky at first, Ace probably not really trusting them and how gothic they look.. evil..
Hatchet/Julius found her interesting. Keeps bugging her on purpose. It annoys Ace so much but that's what she does as well to people she befriends to its technically hypocritical
I like to think of Ace trying to attack with a silver dagger and Hatchet, holding the blade, hurting his fingers and all only smiles up at Ace and that causes her to get really confused and he's: "okay can you take the dagger away now? 🥲 I think my fingers are scarred.." "...IM TRYING TO KILL YOU" and she doesn't
She grows to him but she's pouty still, grumpy and dramatic.. Waylon only sighs and deals with this.
Hatchet uses his charm on her and it doesn't work well because 1 she may not understand his weird way of complimenting and 2 hatchet is really intense (on accident)
When they do get together they're pretty inseparable and they're also lethal, bombs and multiple attacks .. both dramatic too so they're annoying to deal with at times when they're both acting dramatic to someone. (Waylon deals with this as well but fusses at them..mainly Ace and probably slams Hatchet away. Ace is that guy's daughter and Hatchet is that one random boyfriend he doesn't care for)
Hatchet being weak to silver (vampire things) but still proposing the idea of silver rings because yes it would hurt but it would leave a permanent mark of bonding and that makes Ace really emotional but it's also "you are not hurting yourself permanently for that???"
"remember when you tried to kill me?" "I tried to kill you multiple times .. which one .." "oh, y'know the stake.. the garlic.. though garlic doesn't actually—" "I KNOW. I TRIED IT. LEAVE ME ALONE I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT VAMPIRES." "Oh, also remember when—" "Julius I'm going to jump you right now."
