Why didn't Patrick get the same attention as Chrissy and Fred?

Why doesn't Lucas get character development outside of his love for Max?

Why did they bring Kali back just to torture her more, villanize her, and kill her off?

Why do Lucas and Erica's parents have two scenes in the show and no real hints as to who they are, even though the other party members parents do?

Why is Erica hardly in the epilogue with no lines?

"Screw conformity" after torturing a gay boy for five seasons straight and then have him rejected by the love of his life and use his broken heart and self sacrificing nature and feelings to build up a straight romance. A straight romance that has no chemistry and has done nothing but fight and occasionally make out.
