Just for once in a very long time the two had time of their own.usually Clea would insist and force Stephen to take her out so she can see more of the human world and it’s habits,it’s been quite some time since she came to earth along with the sorcerer supreme, but still everything was still new and fascinating to her.This time was different for some reason they remained in the sanctum,just spending time together, not even watching a movie,just enjoying each other’s company
He couldn’t remember what they were talking about, what even started the conversation, the laughter that didn’t seem to stop.maybe it’s the thought of having one another here,close and safe were a good reason to just be…happy.For a long time he thought that he would never find happiness ever again,but with Clea coming into his life he didn’t only feel the happiness he was missing, he felt as if the broken parts in him were finally fixed,he felt complete.
Seeing the sorceress’ smile always brought warmth into his heart.a smile so bright that he’s sure he would never get bored of seeing, he didn’t know much of her past but it was apparent that joy,happiness and laughter were never things she had experienced before, and just being able to change all that even with one of his silly jokes felt wonderful. If only the princess knew how much he cares about her,how badly he wishes to keep that smile from fading away.but perhaps she did…
Her words only made his smile go wider,sometimes she sounded too silly with her choice of words but a single word from her felt too sweet as if his heart would melt. The sorcerer let out a laugh in response, taking a minute just to take every sweet thing in this moment. His fingers lacing with hers,not afraid anymore of the soft touch of her skin against his own.he could never trust someone as much as he trusts her now
“ I never thought I’d be happy ever again ” He said,is eyes not parting from hers,he could stare into those eyes all day,the joy and emotions reflected at him felt so genuine, there was something so captivating about them,something he could not understand “ You make me happy too,Clea.and I feel so lucky for knowing someone as wonderful as you.it could be fate that brought us together.. or maybe not,whatever it was.. I’m glad it gave me the chance to meet you ”
Words weren’t really required to express what the two felt towards one another, with their bond growing so strong they felt like they knew each other for years..and even longer,but it never stopped them from having a sweet moment of honesty. “ You’re my favorite person too ” he said softly and leaned a bit down to press a kiss on her forehead. “ Maybe we should consider watching another one of your movies instead of staring all day ” he joked with a laugh
