#sorry hollywood#was lowkey spoiled to begin with#he's right behind me isn't he#vampires#vlad the impaler#i think one of my ocs would like this movie#spoilers but the part at the end where vlad's in the modern era meeting mina pissed me off#btw mina is played by the same person who played mirena (vlad's wife)#not to be all hays code about it but what drac and mina had going on was not very romantic#obviously this is coming from someone who only read the 1897 book in the 7th grade and didn't understand much#because all my teachers were like “read on your lexile level” so i had nothing to read#thank god high school teachers and college professors aren't too strict on lexile levels#because lexile levels don't even cover the elements of the book#some of my teachers get excited of the idea of kids reading for fun at all#so boring i started reading a random yuri online in the middle (which was also quite boring)#content but very bored#first we mine then we craft#so that happened#the only thing remotely cool was that vlad traveled with bats when he flew or ran#if misandry was actually a thing i think this post would get me called out#because i would be less likely to say this if mirena was the protagonist and it was less on conquest
