It had been a long shift at Granny's and all Ruby really wanted to do was go home and sleep. But since there was still an hour and a half left until close, she had to wait it out. Luckily for her, the diner was relatively dead, except for a few late nighters, who always liked to stay right until she was closing. She was washing tables with her head was down when she heard the bell on the door ring, like someone was coming inside.
