“if you think goodness and decency is the way to merit a good life from God, you will be eaten up with anger, since life never goes as we wish.” currently reading the book, "the prodigal God" by timothy keller! it has been amazing + has challenged me to really examine my motives. understanding + trusting that God’s love for me is the same regardless of my actions isn't easy. it's important for us to know that our value + worth is not found through our "good" deeds. our obedience should be a testimony of our love for him. thankful that we don't need to earn God's #love because it's already there..He is so good!
