I recommend going to @sortinghatchats for more information on their burned houses :) but a burned house is when you have been hurt or learn those methods aren’t doing you as well, so you kind of adapt them. A burned Hufflepuff, for example, wants and desires to have a community, but in order to protect themselves, they might just make it about them and their people while feeling guilty about it.
Hi there! I’m sorry this took awhile to get to. I have been so busy with the school year, but now I’m on Thanksgiving break! Woo hoo! I am actually currently watching Teen Wolf, so this will be fresh in my mind. You can read my sortings under the cut :) I might change these with more reflections and as the show goes on, but these are my first inclinations.
Scott: Hufflepuff Primary/Gryffindor Secondary
Stiles: Hufflepuff Primary/Ravenclaw Secondary
Lydia: Ravenclaw Primary/Ravenclaw Secondary (STRONG Hufflepuff and Slytherin Secondary model)
May I ask how you would sort the Merlin characters?
Hi nonnie! Sorry this took me a couple days to get to. I have been thinking about it quite a bit. I really need to rewatch Merlin to make sure these are accurate, but these are my main guesses for now based off of everything I remember.
Could you explain why you sorted Mike and Johnathon the way you did. No disrespect I would love to hear your analysis based off the sorting of these characters
Hi there! Sure thing. Remember I use @sortinghatchats system!
Mike is a Slytherin Primary, because he is all about his people. He puts them first, he does everything for them. They are WHY he does things. He will let the rest of the world burn effectively to save El or Will. I’m sure that is what you were curious about with Mike.
Regarding Jonathan, he wants to be able to trust all people and take care of all people.. but he burned a long time ago and only looks out for his own but ultimately feels guilty about it. Mike doesn’t feel guilty, Jonathan does. That is why Jonathan is a Burned Hufflepuff whereas Mike is a Slytherin Primary.
Mike has a strong Hufflepuff Primary model. I should have mentioned that, and I don’t think I did in the post. The way he took El in. He saves people, but when the rough gets going.... he will prioritize his people over everything else.
If you don’t mind how would you sort Stranger things characters?
Hi there! Sure thing :) I actually just rewatched all of Stranger Things, so all the characters are fresh in my head. For new readers, I’m using @sortinghatchats system to sort!
hi! i was wondering how you would sort the characters from legacies?? oh and also vampire diaries?? if that's okay
Hi there! Sorry this took me a bit to get to. I would love to sort them. Disclaimer though, it has been awhile since I have watched TVD, so some of these might change if I rewatch. I am also using @sortinghatchats system to sort! :)
The Vampire Diairies (with some The Originals crossover characters)
Could you please explain a Slytherin primary Ravenclaw secondary please?
A Slytherin Primary is a person who is people focused when it comes to making moral decisions, but they usually focus on people first that they have claimed as “their’s” or on themselves and their own protection/ambitions. They can be looked at as “selfish,” but this is just because they are not afraid to look after their own needs or their “person’s” needs first before anything else. Some fictional examples of Slytherin primaries are: Katniss Everdeen, Ginny Weasley, Percy Jackson, Narcissa Malfoy, and Severus Snape.
A Ravenclaw Secondary is a person who likes to approach the world in a planned fashion and have information about situations before going into them. They can be random knowledge collectors, or they might be really good at knowing how to fix things. Either way, they research and learn as much as they can before going into a situation. They are planned secondaries versus adaptable secondaries. Some fictional examples of Ravenclaw secondaries are: Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Annabeth Chase, and Gale Hawthorne.
The best example I can think of that is a Slytherin Primary and Ravenclaw Secondary is Severus Snape (though he is an unhealthy example). He does everything for Lily; she is his person. Her needs come before anything else in the world. When he approaches situations, he does not adapt, he is naturally a planner and very strategic. Think about how he evaded Voldemort for all those years; he gained useful information and used it to his benefit. He also calculated and planned all his moves in order to hide his true allegiance.
