I've just had my hair cut 20 cm shorter.

I played the piano again last weekend after more than a year and sometimes my fingers were playing faster than my eyes reading the sheets.. ^^

I LOVE speculoos spread, I can eat a whole baguette with that stuff on it, so addicted!

I'm a lazy Erasmus student, veeery lazy (but that's normal, right?!)

When all my cousins from my father's side will stop growing even taller I might be the (second) smallest one with 1,77m.

I've danced lead at LLX several times and getting asked for a second dance feels pretty good. It doesn't happen very often though.

My bedroom at home is coloured in lilac an purple.

I don't like wearing heels that much.

I miss my flat mates, my flat and my oven in said flat.

I'm listening to Rama Lama Ding Dong by The Edsels right now :D

A long overdue post of gratitude.

This is supremely long overdue post that has been on my to-do list for about…oh….6 months? And I feel bad that I haven’t made the time to write it until this very moment, but:

THANK YOU.

When I started this blog (shortly after SLOX the point in my life when I decided that lindy hop was the best thing ever), never in a million years would I have ever guessed that it would have brought me so much joy.

I am SO very privileged to have met a handful of you and to call many of you my friends. It is unbelievable the amazing people that I have met (and have yet to meet!), and I am so grateful to have you all in my life.

I remember writing numerous posts about a local dancer that I admired, and, in part, because of this blog, he told me he wanted to meet/dance with me. Now we hang out every week, and he serves as a source of constant inspiration to me.

You guys put up with all my Strom fangirling, and pretty much gave me the best birthday surprise I could have ever asked for in the existence of all lindy hop and TO THIS DAY I am still surprised I didn’t faint and die right there.

We have stickers and buttons and a tumblr page and my swivels have a nickname and and we started a book club and I look back and I’m just like HOLY CHEESE WHEN DID ALL OF THIS HAPPEN :3

Words cannot even express all of the awesomeness that has happened since I’ve been a part of this wonderful community of tumblr, and I just want to thank each and every single one of you who can read this from the bottom of my heart for bringing such light to my life, whether you’re a dancer or you’re just another awesome person who puts up with my blogging on a daily basis.
