Soul Complex 2010 - 2012
This was my early 35mm film work, my first real project into photograpy, it documented the moments just before the major regeneration changes in South East London, Southwark. In this time I attemed to explore council housing, depression within the African diaspore and spirituality. Stopped the development of this project back in 2012 due to personal reasons but also as I wanted to add to it later down the line, felt it was incomplete and lacked the quality I was after. Looking back now heading in to 2017 feel it was a very unique time in my life, I can't revisit and don't really want to revisit it, at lest in still image. As it stands I feel the work is complete and will be self-publishing the images from this series in book form hopefully next year.
