How to Heal

On the train on my way back from a beautiful stay in Kochi. The sky is pink and purple, like tie dye, like watercolours. Palms and tall trees are set against this backdrop and life rushes by, lush and colourful. There is a drummer drumming, a flute playing, birds squawking as we creep in to a station. My memories from this time, from being 27, will be solid, vivid creatures, rampant and alive with energy. I can say with confidence that I have chosen my path and although it may deviate sometimes, twist and turn away from the expected, I am creating the life I wish to live, the memories I wish to hold on to. I am here and I choose to see and feel it all.
