You would not believe the stuff my Baa-chan and Jii-Jii would say about Koreans. Like, it was on the level of, “they’re so uncivilized; they eat dogs you know” kind of racist. I loved them very dearly, but eesh.

Dude my brother-in-law grew up with a bunch of Aryan Nation people and trying to unfuck his thinking is a slow, long, and arduous process. He legitimately believes that "mixing the races" is a bad thing, and I literally do not understand how he reconciles that belief with 

1. The fact that my sister dated a Mexican dude and an Inuit dude before she got to his lily-white ass, and;

2. The fact that our current roommate, who he likes, is half white, half black, with a quarter-black, quarter-mexican, half-white daughter. 

I mean I dig the guy, he's family, but eeeeeesh.
