helllooo soundscapians! i wanted to just pop on and throw up a post for you all letting you know what’s kinda going to be happening around here. as we all know our darling nat who has done such a good job running the main on her own all of these months has gotten a bit busy with her real life, so i have offered to start helping out full time in order to lessen the work load a bit for her. if you don’t know who i am: hello, i’m hazel, and i play wyatt & gil. i’ve been in soundscape for a few months now and i’ve helped out before when nat has been away from the main. it’s always been a one-person show with temporary admins, so i thought it would be good to just inform all of you that she made the decision to bring me on to make sure everything is well taken care of and she is not spread too thin. thanks for reading & give this a like once you have!

as it is the 7th of the month and therefore, soundscape’s four monthiversary, it’s time for OOC APPRECIATION DAY! here’s how this is going to work. if you WANT to participate, like this post. i want to make sure this is optional as i know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. keep checking back on everyone who HAS liked this post and send nice asks ooc to them on any of their characters! these can be on or off anon as long as they are NICE. positive vibes only here at soundscape. if you’re not sure of what to send, here’s just a few prompts to get you started: what do you like about that person’s writing style? what do you like about that character? what do you think they add to soundscape? did they bring you a happy rp memory of any sort? what do you admire about them from afar?

in the interest of tidying our playlist page, if you filled a connection of someone who was recently reopened ( for example, my aurelio filling dolly’s connection ), i’ve just gotten rid of it entirely. ordinarily, the connection would be turned into your possession but with so many people leaving, it was just easier to shorten up the playlist page -- but if this situation applies to you and you want to submit a new one to take its place, you absolutely can!

hi! i was just wondering if this is a krp? ive noticed that a lot of your korean fcs only talk to and plot with each other and i just wanted to make sure if i joined im not limited to just rping with the other kfcs? not that that's a problem, but i want to know upfront!

not gonna lie, this just seems like a really roundabout way of asking if there’s bubble rping going on. nothing about our fc list screams krp ( with only a small handful of korean fcs even in the group at all ), a vast majority being western of varying cultural backgrounds. it’s my job as admin to make sure everyone is inclusive and welcoming not yours, an anon. i had a member a while back state that they were only logging on for certain characters and they were promptly removed from the group. those remaining are active and open to everyone, plotting/thread-wise and i’d appreciate if you’d not pass judgement on a group when you don’t know the full story. inclusiveness and bubble rping are my job as admin to monitor. i happen to know firsthand of plots that our korean fcs have with people other than one another so you can kindly take your concern elsewhere. this is not a krp. literally nothing about this even looks like a krp and no one is limited by race when it comes to rping here. thank you!

good morning, friends! for those of you who don’t know me because i’ve been on my extended mega-hiatus, i’m lainie ( usually playing adrian and julian ), and i’m going to be looking after things until about friday of next week while nat is on her big gay cruise! i just want everyone to know ahead of time things will be a little bit slower than usual because i can’t do much updating the main or answering the inbox while i’m at work; expect to see me on here once or twice during the day and the same in the evening. most importantly, please be gentle, because it’s a very large rp with a lot of pages to update and i’m not a superhuman like nat is! if you see any mistakes, let me know and i’ll be sure to fix it as soon as i can. aside from that, business as usual and feel free to come to me with any questions. mwah!

just as a heads up! this is directed to the member who was unfollowed last night so, current members, disregard but i want to address this. sending hate to this roleplay isn’t going to change the fact that rules were broken and you were asked to leave! it isn’t my fault that you did not read them and chose to disregard them even after you were reminded to abide by them in the discord chat. i’m not going to be posting any of the lovely messages you send my way because i believe in a culture of positivity which your passive aggression does not suit. please focus your energies elsewhere -- it’s immature and you’re not going to get a reaction out of me beyond this point. you were blocked because you did not bother to read my message and instead started spamming the dms saying you breaking the rules was ‘a joke’. well, it’s not a particularly funny joke to me so please, just accept my decision and move on like a civilized adult. thank you!
