PROLOGUE: What I want to achieve in life is I want to eventually be onstage playing a leading role in a musical. This is because for years now I've either been turned down for any part or given ensemble roles. As for roles I would want to play, though probably own in my wildest dreams, Christine Daae (If I'm extremely lucky!), Cosette, Phoebe D'Ysquith... Well you get the gist of it. However, all this is secondary to me becoming a wife and mother.
CINDERELLA AT THE GRAVE: Just last year I lost my pet dog that I'd had since I was a baby. Sure, she didn't particularly like me cause I treated her like a toy when I was little and was a bit too aggressive with her (and she obviously avoided me for the rest of her days as a result of that), but I loved her and the joy she gave the family. I would to bring her back if only to give her a pat and cuddle to apologise for those earlier years.
HELLO LITTLE GIRL: Several years ago now I actually had a near death experience. I was at my bro's soccer game and I ran across the rode to the car to get my gameboy, and I almost got hit by a speeding truck as a result!
I KNOW THINGS NOW: About 5 years ago, I happened across a random video on youtube. This video was a bootleg of Phantom of the Opera taken from someone in the audience. You see I wasn't in the theatre scene at this time and I had no idea what it was. So I watched the first 15 or so minutes, I was entranced by what I saw. This lead me to get singing lessons, if only to eventually sound half as good as the woman who played Christine (i can't remember the actress now). Yeah, so this little by chance thing on youtube changed my life, without it, I wouldn't be in the fandom, or any musical fandom for that matter and most of all, I wouldn't have found my voice!
A VERY NICE PRINCE: As for what I like in a guy - a good sense of humour (but not rude), good social skills, and a safe, protective vibe. Looks are secondary, but preferably decent looking at least.
GIANTS IN THE SKY: TBH, my family travels a lot so I don't feel much need to travel anywhere especially. However, my favourite places were definitely London and New York.
AGONY: Once I had a crush on this guy, Jack, (we were friends btw) and then he broke my heart by telling me all about his feelings for another girl.
IT TAKES TWO: The person who means the most to me is definitely my mother. Without her, none of my dreams would seem possible. As she supports me, takes me to places I need to be, comforts me when I'm down, and loves me. I couldn't have asked for anything more in a parent.
STAY WITH ME: I have a good relationship with my family (4 siblings so I won't bore with the details). We are all unique yet we all stick together when the moment calls for it.
ON THE STEPS OF THE PALACE: As for my dream party, since I'm not really into the huge party scene, I like just a simple sleepover with 5 or so of my closest friends.
CAREFUL MY TOE: My favourite thing in my wardrobe is my my golden locket I got from my grandma. I wear it everywhere.
EVER AFTER: The time I felt most happy was when I found out I got mentioned positively in a review for one of the plays I did. I felt so honoured as my part wasn't huge (about one song to be exact) and some of the leads didn't even get mentioned!
THE WITCH'S LAMENT: I actually don't deal too well with disappointment regrettably. Once I auditioned for a lead in a play and I felt for certain it was going to be mine. And after many failed auditions, I thought I'd finally have my moment in the spotlight. When I found out I didn't get it, I felt crushed and useless for a little while. Thank god my mum was there or I don't know what I would have done. I'm getting better at handling rejection now though so theres an upside.
ANY MOMENT: I actually had an innocent little summer romance once... We knew each other for a week and were even boyfriend/girlfriend for an hour before we parted ways. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
MOMENTS IN THE WOODS: Something I've grown to regret was nearly ALL the shit I did when I was little. Yeah... I was a naughty kid. I called the teacher a meany head to her face and had to wait in the naughty corner for like an hour. lol
YOUR FAULT: What I consider my worst feature: I have little scars spotted all over my legs from a skin condition I had years ago that haven't faded completely. I also have a thing where I have to concentrate really hard on what I'm saying or it will come out all muddled. As for my best feature, I always liked my hair, naturally auburn and curly.
LAST MIDNIGHT: I actually never felt like a big fish in a small pond. Quite the opposite actually!
NO ONE IS ALONE: Someone I can't live without would of course be my mother, but also my amazing friends. You see, when I was younger, my best and only friend ditched me for another group of girls and this affected both my social skills and self esteem for several years. I felt so depressed I even considered skipping school on occasion to escape the fact that I had no one to sit with at lunch. Then one day, a nice girl asked me to sit with her and her friends at lunch. This twist of fate brought me a group of the 7 or so loveliest girls i've ever met. Now, two years later, I'm changed for the better because of them. Thanks guys, for everything.
FINALE: My favourite fairytale is Rapunzel. This is because it shows a girl doesn't have to be 100% perfect to get her happy ending. Rapunzel is flawed, she's rebellious, mentally unhinged even, a normal girl. Then one day her Prince finds her in her little tower and she is given the chance to see there is good in the world and not all the lies her 'mother' has told her. When Gothel banishes Rapunzel and blinds the Prince, they still find each other again. They both suffered to win each other, proving how relationships actually work, albeit in a metaphorical way at least.
So there you have it guys. I'll be surprised if anyone actually reads all of this. But if you have, I guess you have learned quite a lot about me now! Thank you for reading.
