I learned that Krita has an animation tool and created this a few months ago, forgot about, and eventually finished.

In the urban city of Portford, finding suitable Christmas trees for town square is nigh impossible. Luckily for the townsfolk, when Source heard news that there wouldn't be a tree this year, he volunteered to get one!
...And by get one, I mean be one. As unorthodox as it looks, many gathered around Source as he stood, completely decked out in tinsel, lights, and a little star on his head. Source wasn't bothered by his position, he was quite content with spreading Christmas cheer!

I'm bringing you two characters in one post because when it comes to these two, you simply can't have one without the other. This is Tad Fitzgerald and X, The King of Xoids. Tad is Lucy's biological father; a laid-back ex-evil genius with WAY too much time on his hands. This former recluse spends most of his time making evil inventions for other evildoers to purchase over the dark web. When he's not doing that, he's usually spending time with his family, especially with his boyfriend. Speaking of which... X, though not related to Source, is also an xoid. He is the self-appointed King of Xoids, a title that used to matter before his home planet was destroyed. To the public, he acts like a powerful stoic guardian. In actuality, he's just an insecure, yet caring father of two adopted xoid twins. X is welcomed as a Fitzgerald after bonding with Tad. Now a member of the family, X becomes a step-dad to Lucy.
