What's Sousuke's favorite activity to do with his girlfriend on his birthday?

When asked, Sousuke will answer “Eating tonkatsu” in a straight voice, as if eating being anyone’s favourite activity on an action packed birthday were normal. However, it is a very special activity for him. Why, you ask? “It tastes good.” he replies. It brings bittersweet memories of swim meet victories and intense swimming regimes from his past, but also is a wish for his future successes. When he eats the tonkatsu you made, he remembers the future he shares with you, and how surely together, you two will share victories.

But deep down, his favourite thing would be seeing you happy. Be it getting along so well with his Samezuka friends, or your excited face when you show him his present from you. When you’re happy, he’s happy, and when the two of you are so joyful, he loves it.

At first, Sousuke didn’t understand his feelings for you were called a crush. What had once been merely endearment and friendship had, over time, developed into something more. He wanted to spend more time with you, he wanted to listen to you talk more, he wanted you to be close to him.

A crush? How could he have a crush? Nothing special had happened, no sudden event that had made you so loveable. So how come he felt strangely ecstatic whenever you were around? 

Of course, Sousuke wouldn’t let you know these feelings gushing about inside of him. He would act the same around you as always, but perhaps, a little more stiff and polite than usual.

But he did care for you a lot. That he would, grudgingly, admit. Crush? Sousuke pushed that to the back of his mind until it could no longer be ignored. Rin, of course, would be to blame for this revelation. 

Sousuke had ignored Rin’s initial relentless teasing, but Rin soon got sick of his friend not understanding his feelings for you. He straight out told Sousuke that what he felt for you was a crush.

Sousuke thought that was BS, but after a while, he believed it. Sousuke had a crush on you. How it happened, how it started, he had no idea. But what he did know was that he wanted to be with you.
