The writer Brian Burrell also shows up in various IPC titles from the late 70's/early 80's like Tornado, Eagle and Scream. Not sure if this was a pseudonym for someone else.

The South Fork General Store is probably a reference to Southfork Ranch, the home of the Ewing family in the popular soap Dallas which was still in its early days on UK television. Treasury of British Comics.

One of my friends and I took at day off at home and went to Southfork Ranch (her idea). Southfork Ranch, for those who don’t know, is known as the shooting location for the long-running television show Dallas. Both the original and the reboot filmed here. It was an fun and interesting day.
