Like do they notice how manipulative they are before or after they got together?
Do they still like them after they find out?
How do they find out?
Do they still stay together?

a/n: ok so this is a very interesting request, but a good interesting! i wasn't sure if you're asking the character to be manipulative or the reader so i made both for mikey but i don't really see chifuyu and souya as manipulative and toxic
IF YOU'RE MANIPULATIVE
Has a hunch that you were manipulative but he kind of doesn't really give a shit. He likes you, he'll keep you. You're always there for him, when he wants his favourite snacks without letting draken knows, when he needs you to vent his thoughts, when he needs your company. But of course, all of those are your dirty little tricks to keep him wrapped around your finger. He's messed up and you were too. He can't fix himself but you kept being by his side. Can't he at least enjoy that moment while it lasts?
IF MIKEY IS MANIPULATIVE
You noticed it right away after two or three times he did it. And his manipulation, not only works like a charm, but really makes you stay with him. You don't know but he really makes you feel like you're needed, like without you, he'd crumble, he'd break. and you don't want to be the primary reason he took the easy way out. You'd definitely blame yourself if that happens no matter how toxic he can be.
Didn't notice his s/o is manipulative because hes lovestruck with you. He's a loyal person so he never thinks ill of you until takemitchy pointed it out. Baji has also mentioned this to Chifuyu but Chifuyu didn't want to believe it. it's not that he doesn't know how manipulative people, well, manipulate. He knows! And that's one of the reason he hates kisaki. But you? He didn't. Thats how in love and loyal he is to you. He really doesn't want to break up with you so he gave a few more days with you until he really couldn't take it. If his friends don't like you, then he's better off being single.
Didn't notice it either but his brother of course did. And he really hates you. he doesn't like that you're using his innocent and kind brother for your own good. Nahoya has told Souya millions of time to stay away from you but, it's not that Souya doesn't listen, it's because he hasn't seen you being manipulative. And that's exactly why nahoya told him to leave you. That's just how manipulation works and it all comes down to the victim whether the victim wants to stay or avoid. So souya takes his brother's advice and keeps it in mind. The next time you asked him to fetch you something or give you a ride somewhere, 'promising' you'll pay him back but you didn't, he'll be smart and start to be wary of you. Sooner or later, he decided to break up with you.
